"I woke up to find my house at 83 degrees inside and outside A/C unit making a buzzing noise and not working. The company who installed the A/C told me they "might" be able to get to me in 2 - 3 days. So, I called A#1 because a neighbor had recommended them. A very pleasant person answered the phone and said, "We can certainly come out today!" I was so happy. She told me that they had a full schedule, but that a dispatcher would call me in about an hour to let me know when they would come out. In just a few minutes, I got a call from the dispatcher letting me know that it would likely be after 2 pm when the tech would arrive and he would call me back to keep me updated. I got two more calls as the day progressed keeping me informed. On the final call, the dispatcher let me know that the tech would be at my house between 6 and 7 pm. He arrived right around 7 with a smile on his face and a terrific attitude for someone who had been working in the heat all day. He diagnosed the problem immediately and replaced my capacitor in a couple of minutes. He checked my freon level and my other components and let me know that one of the electrical components might be going out, but he didn't try to scare or pressure me into getting it fixed. I told him that I would take my chances for now. He was very friendly and professional. I will DEFINITELY call A#1 again!"

And what was really impressive, is they were also able to install a new AC unit a few hours after the initial consult. By 9pm the work was done after hours of hard work. I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge a recent service call from A#1 Air. On August 17th, I came home to a house that was 99 degrees. The call was set up with an approximate service time of midnight (much to the chagrin of my pets).

At 7 p.m., Jeff McCreary showed up - a welcomed sight indeed! Jeff got right to work, accurately identifying the problem(s) and getting things back to working order. He was patient enough to explain to me what he was doing so that I could learn a few things. He also checked the attic unit and helped me with some advice about maintenance.

To be honest, I always dread when I have to have service done on the house (of any kind) because you never know who is going to show up at your door. Jeff was professional, knowledgeable, and had things fixed well before midnight! I really appreciated his approach to a situation that was a real bummer, and wanted to send a quick thank you note because he made a bad situation better.

I'll return to A#1 Air because of the help that he provided!
